Building Quality into an IT Infrastructure

Session Abstract: Most people think of quality in terms of software, but what role does it play when you are building a new data center or the IT backbone for a whole new building? NCIS, as part of the BRAC moves, has had the opportunity to move into two new buildings, one at Ft. Meade, MD and one at Quantico, VA. At the Quantico building, NCIS assumed responsibility for the backbone of IT for the entire building where 5 separate agencies will be located, in addition to the responsibility for the IT within our sovereign spaces. This presentation will discuss how we built quaintly into those new spaces.
