Abstract:
The time for change and growth in our field is upon us. More and more organizations are finding themselves in need of critical-thinking innovators to elevate testing techniques and processes while remaining cost-effective in the face of a rapidly changing business climate. These organizations seek to change from a standardized and formula-based software testing approach to a shift in mindset that focuses on adaptive, situational approaches. The testing discipline is evolving and calls to action are being issued globally. Can you answer? Will you answer? Join David as he facilitates an open conversation on “QA 2.0 – Evolving the Discipline”. In this session David will discuss topics related to software testing perceptions, tester mindsets, critical thinking, and situational session-based testing notions. David will share thought provoking concepts and exercises designed to unleash creative and critical thinking minds and help you join the revolution.
“We have to continue mining the discipline to look for those key processes, those techniques, those tools, those mindset gems that allow us to learn and grow and create environments where problem-solving and effective execution strategies contain values needed by our customers.” - David E. Oddis
Note: Attendees receive PDUs to use for recertification credits at PMI, QAI, ASQ, ISC2, ISACA, IEEE or ISTQB.
