Agile is here to stay! Or is it? Is it a buzzword, a passing fad, or is Agile a Bona-fide Project Management strategy? In reality, Agile is a mindset that focuses on stakeholder satisfaction, early return of business-value, and continuous improvement. Agile includes several discreet project management methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, and it also steers the practitioner to many techniques that can be successfully incorporated in a plethora of development environments to improve communications and ultimately lead to better project metrics and results.
Risk management is a critical area of focus for those with project level responsibility and is applicable to many roles within the organization. Whether you work directly for the PMO, or are involved in the day-to-day development, you will find value in this material. Being agile in today’s workplace means working in an integrated environment. From Quality Assurance to Security to Business Analyst, Agile Risk Management is a critical skill. In this workshop, we will explore and discuss various risk management techniques that have emerged from the world of Agile project development.
Lisa and Dave will address the following topics:
Understand Agile as a mindset and a superset of specific methodologies;
Learn Agile methods for management and communication of project risk factors;
